Plectranthus madagascariensis 2.5L
Plectranthus madagascariensis is a spreading groundcover. The inflorescence is 9 to 12.5 centimetres long with white flowers. The stems root freely where they touch the ground. This is a useful groundcover which is commonly found in South African gardens. It does well in full sun and light shade. The variegated form is rather attractive. It also grows well in a container indoors and is charming in a hanging basket on a patio. Genus of about 350 species of which 44 species are natural to our region. They are often grown for their attractive foliage, which provides interesting textures and colours. Spur flowers vary in their growth forms from low prostrate groundcovers to small, medium and large shrubs.
